Dulce Tricolor Venezolano, a Bay Area nonprofit founded in 2019 by a group of Venezuelan moms, aims to connect children with the music, dance, and traditions of Venezuela. What began as a small community gathering has blossomed into a cherished organization that offers Venezuelan dance classes, teaching authentic Venezuelan folk dance to kids, teens, and adults from all backgrounds in Campbell, CA.

Our mission as a Bay Area nonprofit is to preserve and share Venezuelan cultural heritage through dance, music, and community events. We celebrate traditions like joropo, gaitas, and tambores, ensuring that Venezuelan folk dance remains vibrant for a new generation. We believe culture is a gift, and that everyone deserves the joy and belonging that comes from dancing together, including through our Venezuelan dance classes.

Our students range from 4-year-olds taking their first dance steps to adults rediscovering their roots through our Venezuelan dance classes. Many are Venezuelan families, while others come from diverse backgrounds. What brings everyone together is a love of movement, culture, and community. As a Bay Area nonprofit, we celebrate this unity by showcasing our students' talents at various Bay Area cultural events and school festivals throughout the year, including performances of traditional Venezuelan folk dance.

Dulce Tricolor Venezolano, a Bay Area nonprofit, has been featured by KQED, the Bay Area's leading public media organization, for our work preserving Venezuelan culture and building community through Venezuelan dance classes. We are proud to be recognized as part of the Bay Area's vibrant cultural fabric, particularly in promoting Venezuelan folk dance.
Whether you want to enroll in our Venezuelan dance classes, book a performance, volunteer, or support our mission as a Bay Area nonprofit, we would love to welcome you. Our Venezuelan folk dance classes are held in Campbell, CA, and are open to all ages and backgrounds. No dance experience is needed. Contact us at hola@dulcetricolor.com.
For Venezuelan families in the diaspora, DTV is a place where kids learn who they are. For Bay Area families from any background, it's a chance to experience a living culture, not a textbook version of one.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run with a small team and a lot of community. Everything we do is scoped to be real, sustainable, and specifically Venezuelan.
